Which one costs less?

BOSSCAT's estimate is free. You create an account, enter the address, upload the report, and answer questions about your timing and your role in the deal. Repair Pricer charges a home buyer $79.99 for Basic or $109.99 for Premium, and Premium adds the RUSH upgrade.

Kept's memo is $79 for every line of your report, less than either Repair Pricer tier. BOSSCAT costs nothing up front, but it takes 1 to 3 business days, and the estimate arrives as a cart for ordering the repairs.

Which one is faster?

Repair Pricer's support page guarantees every report within 24 hours. Premium and RUSH reports "are normally completed in 4-6 business hours," so the faster turnaround comes with the higher price.

BOSSCAT calls its estimates instant, but its own pages give 1 to 3 business days. You can ask for expedited service when you upload; the site doesn't post a price or turnaround for it. What happens if you disagree with a price or want your money back?

With Repair Pricer, usually nothing. Its terms say "because our products are digital goods delivered via Internet download we generally offer no refunds." Its support page adds "we do not allow consumers to influence or change prices." It makes exceptions for new evidence, or a re-inspection with new findings within 7 days of the report.

With BOSSCAT, there's nothing to refund because the estimate is free. The harder problem is a number you doubt: its site calls the pricing "market-specific" and "localized" but doesn't say what goes into a line price, so you have little to check it against.

Who does the repairs?

This is the biggest difference between the two. BOSSCAT's estimate is also an order form: you review the cart, approve the repairs you want, and sign a service agreement. Its FAQ says "We no longer provide home services directly," so third-party partners do the work, in select markets.

BOSSCAT has far more independent reviews. Repair Pricer's are thin.

BOSSCAT's Trustpilot reviews mix estimates and repair jobs, and most one-star reviews are about repair jobs, missed appointments and billing. The doubts about both services are mostly about the numbers. One Repair Pricer reviewer "found several of the estimates to be very low." A 2025 BOSSCAT reviewer wrote, "I do feel the estimates for repair are not accurate."
